Light Weapons: Right Now you can hold only 1 gun it gets kind of boring sometimes I think they Should allow you to carry a second weapon but only certain smaller weapons like a pistol

Melee Attack: Pressing shift makes you swing your weapon or a knife if you are holding your light weapon (from above) if their back is turned you assassinate them

    hmm.. side weapon..
My thoughts are that the gameplay has been made slower and a bit more annoying since 0.54.. since hits are not being counted, rifle has a cone of fire, SMG has barely controllable recoil.. I have played it considerably less since this update.
Personally, there would be no need for a side-arm if the gameplay was made more enjoyable through simplicity again.
The old setup was really fun - good aim was rewarded! Now, good aim misses a proportion of the time.. SMG is hard to use at any distance, especially when standing. So I'd suggest reverting the rifle, hit detection/verification and lessening the recoil significantly on the SMG. If this is done, I think it'd be more enjoyable, and negate the need for the side-arm.

I agree with TGM. While the SMG being added made 0.54 worth the wait, all the other stuff that was done just kind of ruined the game (for me at least; there's still like 350+ people who play). I play it no where near as much as I used to because it's more frustrating than fun, and that's not good at all. Ben said that the cone of fire for both weapons would most likely be lowered in future updates (hopefully the rifle's cone will be completely removed), but that won't be enough if server-side hit verification is going to remain.

I honestly don't care that much anymore, as ironic as it may seem. I remember the time we spent waiting for 0.53/0.54, I was growing more and more impatient as time went on. Now it just seems like a waste of time to me. I still look forward to 0.55, but I've kind of just given up on the game (no offense Ben; it's your game, your rules). I still check for updates, but I've almost completely lost hope in believing the game's mechanics are going to be reverted back to how they used to be, or at least improved. The one thing that I want gone is the server-side BS; maybe then I could live with the rifle's cone...okay I lied. I want both the cone and the SSBS gone, but like I said; I doubt that's going to happen.

Isn't the problem with client-side hit verification the fact that it gives a massive bonus to players with more lag?

If nobody's familiar with the story, this is cited as one of the major problems with a game called Gunz: The Duel, which uses client-side hit verification for their gunplay - which has had the funny result of dial-up users wrecking everybody's shit, because on their client, everybody else is just jogging in place while they score headshots.

I don't really see how client-side hit verification could possibly work or be fair in any way. Server-side hit verification should work perfectly as long as the server is properly configured and is hosting an appropriate number of players, which might actually be a rare thing considering how many servers seem to use the default 32-player limit regardless of their actual bandwidth capacity.
