The gallery section of the website is outdated. It would be nice to replace the old screenshots with newer ones, showing:

- The improved graphics.
- The new weapon.
- Cool custom maps.
- Intense action with lots of players and bullets flying.

Maybe we could help posting our own screenshots with no mods. I bet there's some players who would enjoy being a war reporter in AoS, trying to get the perfect photo :)

i agree, that page havent been upgraded since the website went live.

I think there should be two galleries - one 'official' gallery detailing the mechanisms of a game, and another player-submitted gallery which details new weapons/maps/cool and funny things happening.

I don't think it needs saying, but images would need to go through an approval system to avoid pictures of phalluses, insults and swearwords getting onto the main site.

In this sense, I think it's meant as "win over the punter". Casual gamers are going to be underwhelmed by the graphics if they've just come from CoD or another high-end industry game (in terms of graphics, at least).

Why not employ a system like the Minecraft forums' front page does - where there is a section to submit videos, and popular/creative ones get reposted to the front page?

yeah its free, but I still have to promote it in the best way possible to get people to download... ie 'sell' the game - and now I have to compete with TF2 so fuck :)

There's also something in the readme about 'creating a map editor in the future' - though I think it may be phrased a bit better now.
If you want we could have a gallery contest :)

What about a custom map contest? You could have a video that shows fighting on a bunch of different custom maps, or even a separate photo gallery of the best custom maps.

Maybe add some community screen shots to the gallery page. Maybe a section showcasing mods from the community.
