What if you had fog blocks you could place, and *build* a fog zone in strategic locations? They could be literally blocks of fog, or regular blocks that make a local fog effect. |

I love this idea, it adds a new dynamic to assaulting buildings, rather than either the WWI-esque charge over no-man's land in the open, or digging under their base. How I think it should be done is to change the grenade slot from one slot of two, to two slots of one. You would specify which item would be in each slot when you select your loadout. For example, say 1 picks frags and 2 picks smokes. The following images, which took over 9000 hours in MS Paint, detail the following loadouts; Pressing 1 twice - two frags; Pressing 2 twice - two smokes; Pressing 1 then 2 (or vice versa) - frag and a smoke; When you have one of each, you would use right-click to switch between them. Once one grenade is used, the other one is automatically equipped. Not only does this give the player freedom over their loadout, it also could form a basis for other objects thay may be implemented in the future, such as barbed wire, landmines, whatever. Also, the keyboard shortcut to equip grenades remains the same, rather than having to introduce a new slot. |

aren't fully custom loadouts call of duty things, i keep seeing that suggestion everywhere i think smoke grenades might be pretty cool, i dont know, they would be very strange, also. |

You dont even know how much smoke would help. I hate on maps like pinpoint where the other team just sits in one spot and the minute you poke your head out to shoot them its just the whole enemy team going PEWPEPWEPWPEWPEPWEPWEW. With smoke your whole team could move up behind them completely demolish them |

How large would the smoke cloud be, though? That'd definitely affect its usefulness. Influx seems to have a good idea on how to choose your 'nades. With that system, you'd be able to have a grenade for whatever situation you're in |

The smoke cloud should be (at least) tall enough to walk in without your head poking out, and have a radius that is larger than the distance a player can travel in 2 seconds. Also, I really like Influx's idea, because it leaves room for additional explosive devices, such as flash-bombs and mustard gas. |
