Ricochet would be ~super great~, especially in tunnels, and especially if shotguns are added. Thinking about block-shot interaction, it could be a matter of angle. The shot could ricochet if the angle is less than 45 degrees and damage the block if it's more than 45. |

Most of the naturally-occuring blocks represent dirt. You can shoot dirt all day and not a single bullet will bounce. To be fair, you'd never be able to destroy eight subic feet of dirt with a non-explosive round, but a version of AoS that didn't allow gunfire to break blocks has been tried and hated. I jsut don't see how ricochet would improve the gameplay. |

ricochet would be really cool, but probably only really work if there were rocks or something. i'm pretty sure there's ricochet in red orchestra(which is like aos, in some ways), where the bullets sometimes just spin out of control, it is a pretty cool way to make things feel cooler. i don't think there would be too many problems with it |
