I have read a lot of great suggestions about weapons like sniper rifle, TNT, machine gun, field artillery, RPG, etc.. However, it can break the game to just distribute them among players, aside from the basic equipments. How about adding an armory, or merge its functionality with the headquarter? As players acquire more kills or assists, or intel captures, they will earn points to redeem those new weapons. (Also, shovel should have limited uses by default..) |

I figured my Idea of only getting to choose one weapon at a time was pretty decent. You would also have to be at your HQ to change weapons from your starting rifle, so depending on where you spawn the trek might not be worth trading in your trusty, well balanced rifle. Also, are you saying the shovel/pickaxe should have a break meter? I think thats a good idea! The shovel and axe could break after 50 blocks (150 for shovel on account it destroys 3 blocks at a time) and would require a trip to the base to fix it. It would make tunneling all over the map quickly and unopposed nearly impossible, and would require more strategy to tunnel and destroy effectively. We should do that! |

Also, I reckon that at the HQ, it's the real only place where you can view the map, so someone could be like the commander issuing orders and strategies. Though, interestingly enough, the opposite team may have one or two ideas about wanting to confuse there enemy, they could kill the commander. Also, I agree, that the items should have some durability, this is WW1 here, and people always had to rely on a surplus of new materials and equipment to make things work. The armory idea is good, maybe it could also be mobile, what I mean is, have it so you can take a whole set of weapons, and set up a arms depo in the field. Now that I mention this, multiple other things should be able to be set up, like a mobile camp. |

if the guy implements mortars i want to be able to mark spots on the map with x and y coordinates to tell the people using the mortars were to strike. |

i think having the spade and shovel able to be destroyed a horrible idea, i know itll add more lifelike...ness, to the game, but i hated it in minecraft, and no doubt id hate it in this, yeah, maybe if u get bonus tools for capturing things, they should be degradable, but the default tools that are in place now, should have unlimited uses, also, more default clips would be nice, and a wider grenade explosive radius |

Uhh. No. And all those 'great' weapon ideas weren't great at all. Only new weapons I could deal with, are a sidearm, pickaxe damaging and a mortar which spots to shoot needs to be marked with special blocks. |

I agree with Monsteri, but mortars really weren't in WW1. Some new weapons would be okay, but let's still keep it Ace of Spades, since there are bunch of cods and battlefields out there already. Besides, maybe suggestions should be left for later; he is writing the net code thingy, so he propably doesn't add this stuff just yet. |

I still want the dev to confirm this is WW1 based before i start calling it names, and to be honest if i wanted a war simulation i'd go play arma. |

thank u noire, guys you shouldn't turn down stuff JUST cause it didn't exist in ww1 cause there's no real proof its not just some warring tribes from a different world, or some other war, idk, farmers fighting for the best chicken stock |

I'm glad somebody get's it, they keep complaining not to turn this into mw2, acting like this game is based off a real war. Your arguments about "hurdur there are trenches and bunkers." is completely invalid. First of all, trenches were not only used in World War 1, they've been in use in World War 2, the korean war, iraqi-iran war, and so on. Second you guys insist this is world war 1 even though we are place blocks down and being autistic and building castles, you could claim this is the a mix of Medieval with semi-automatic rifles. |
