You probably clear your history on a regular basis.

I have no history, sadly. I'm guessing my dad removed it from the computer before it was passed on to me.

When I was little I always found looking at 'pictures' whenever I walked in the room. That was like, eight years ago, and i'm 14 lol. This computer is OLLLD.

Lucky, when I use to go to my University my friends always tried to get on my laptop and look through my things so I had a habit of clearing my history and passwords before I left my house. I guess I still have that same habit now.

You need to learn how to set a hard-drive password. Not just a windows password, but a password to even boot your hard-drive.

It'll probably be like that for me in, maybe, six years.

I wish I knew that a few years ago, it can't be helped.

And for file security, i have a "Goldkey". its kind of like a house key, but for computer files. seriously, i don't need people reading my conversation history.

Dear duttbaces

1. My HDD is split into two partitions, H and C, with H holding the system files and what not. C is just a filler, so to speak, unused. However, the bios (or whatever controls the function) is set to boot off of C, and since that section of my HDD has nothing on it (7MB), my PC can't start.

2. What most don't know is that I have a bootable flashdrive with alternate boot settings on it, the most used being "booting from drive 2, second partition".

3. I keep the flashdrive on my person at all times.

tl;dr: Verdant's Goldkey, but instead of files or a section, it "unlocks" the whole thing.

For even more security I encrypted my entire drive. Key, and a password.
