I just got news that the Job Corps center in San Jose had a spot open, and they reviewed my application and want me there... August 1st. So, this means I'm going to be leaving you all very soon. It's been nice knowing you, guys. I love you all. Make my last week on the forums nice, okay?

I wouldn't be too worried about not talking to people you met on an internet forum, you should probably focus on keeping in touch with family and friends.

I don't talk with my family to begin with, and I really don't have friends. You guys are the only people I talk to.

Well, they give you career training, as well as help you get a high school diploma (I don't apply for that, as I already have mine), and then they help you find a job for up to a year after you graduate the program. It's basically the workaround for that impossible loop "have to have a job to get experience, but have to have experience to get a job" thing.

Good luck in all your life's endeavours, Kaede. Although we just sort of co-existed on these forums and were never 'friends', it's nice to see someone's life take a change for the better.

To all the people who are all "LUL INTERNET FRIENDS AREN'T REAL", aren't friends just people whom you like and trust - and some people seem to forget that behind the avatar and the name, we are all people with lives, families, jobs (or lack thereof), stories, memories and all that shebang. We're not some faceless entity just because you've never seen us, and can qualify as 'friends' as much as anyone, in my opinion.

We'll all miss having you here as that one person who posts in every thread.

Fanks. The only parts besides no regular internet I'm not looking forward to is the dorm setting, shared bathrooms, and set mealtimes. It's gonna be just like prison! And most of the kids in there are going to be 4-6 years younger than I am. ;_;

You should get a cell phone with a Data plan :)
