i think land mines should be added for 2 reasons 1. to set up traps and protect doorways and 2. i was on a map and talking about them andpeople agree it would be cool |

Whatever lets use this thread, landmines are a good idea but so many people would put them on the intel, then it would be impossible to get the intel. Also what would happen when you tunnel under it? Or when you break the block that its on? |

Agreed, C4 to greif more, lol jk. But ya C4 is a good idea, then we would have to detonate it. But do you see how this could be used for greifing, a greifer sticks it to a wall, hides and detonates it and he doesn't get teamkilled. |

Make it more like a satchel charge, which would have a 10 second fuse or something - the griefer might not be able to hide in time - and could be mined out to defuse it, but only by an enemy or by the placer (to prevent pissing off players by constantly mining their satchel - only the placer would get it back in case of a misplaced satchel). Each team should get a different colour satchel charge, so people could see which is a friendly and which is an enemy satchel. |

I dont know about the 10 second fuse though, it would be pretty irritating an the enemy would get away fast, lets keep the landmine idea, but they can not be planted within a 10x10x10 block radius (yes I know that's big, but to prevent irritation). How's this? |

I was actually referring to the C4 idea, which is more of a building or terrain desctruction item than an area denial weapon. Landmines are pretty self-explanitory, and I would like to see them in game as it would bring a whole new dynamic to the game. |

i think land mines would just help out for protecting areas from the other team and you couldnt stick em near the intel so that it would still be fair as for if you break the blocks its on it would just be disabled and if you tunnel under it wouldnt go off y would your not stepping on it... |

They should be like intel, if you dig under it, it falls. If you place blocks on it, it goes up. If you touch it from any direction, it makes you explode like a 200 pound blood sausage dropped from a 10 story building. |
