Seargeant Palmer gathered us at the base, where there was a brown briefcase on the table with what appeared to contain several yellow files in it.She said "Alright grunts, this is the intel. Those damn blues over there are trying to get their grubby little hands on this. We cant let it happen. So go out, haul ass and set up fortifactions around this thing and hold out as long as you can before reinforcements arrive." The soldiers replied with a chorus of grunts and nods. They all went outside. Private Buck "Ace" was very nervous. What If he died and never returned to his family? His parents were old now and could never support themselves without him. But while thinking, Sergeant Palmer said "What are you doing soldier? Haul ass and get to work!" And he snapped out of it.
1st week: First sight of the blue soldiers. They attempt to dig several infiltration tunnels into our base and attempt to attack mainly with trenches.
2nd week:Condition is bad. Many of the men are sick with diseases and food and water is running out. The blue soldiers are starting to slowly push forward.
3rd week:I don't think we're going to make it for long. Food and water is almost bone-dry and half of the men are seriously injured or dead.
4th week:Last stand. Sargeant palmer and what remains of her squad stands at the intel, ready to defend it to their last breaths.
Ace asked palmer if we were ever going to make it back home. Palmer replied with a piercing glance. Ace flinched, but didnt blame her. Everyone had been on the edge. Starved for almost 5 days, they were being worn down with fatigue and they've all been sleeping and living in fear while listening to the constant mining action of the blue soldiers. Suddenly , one of the squadmates yelled "CONTACT!!!" a tracer round whizzed by, and Sargeant Palmer's head exploded into bloody ribbons.

I haven't ran Linux in a while. I've been developing on Windows a lot lately. I still want to try out Ace of Spades on Linux though.

    Awsome story Halo!
Don't write any more though because a sequel would just ruin the first one.
