Hello, forgive me if i break any rules for this forum by posting this here. I have got a working application made for mac os x 10.5 and 10.6 intel computers, i am posting here to see how many people are interested in me posting my ace of spades for mac game to mediafire or something of the like. i know people have said use crossover but crossover isn't very easy to use and personally i don't like to use it very often and so i have made an easy program that you launch, install ace of spades and then double click on it and it runs ace of spades perfectly! this is all done by wine for mac os x for those who are interested and i deserve no credit as the credit goes to those who have made wine and wineskin possible as well the team who are working away on ace of spades and are making an awesome fun and unique game. please let me know of what you think, questions, tutorials, etc.
PS. this method should(might not) work for linux and ubuntu as well.

wow, i didn't realize that someone could be such an ass right off the bat. I was actually looking for ways to set it up, when i came across this thread. I figured it would be easier to use the program that this gentleman has set up, rather than figure out wine. also, notice that i did not come here begging someone to write a program for setting up the game on a mac. I saw that someone had already done it and encouraged them to release it. and did i say it was making the developer's life easy? not at all. also,

LOL. I was not aware that 7 year olds with awful grammar and argument skills played this game. I may have to reconsider downloading it. besides, i even said in my post that i was too lazy to set up wine, so thats a stupid argument to make.

Could you just stop arguing? It'd be very nice of this guy to post a working app for Mac. I have been working for several hours on wine, and I have consulted several tutorials, but I still can't get it working.

I have tried using Wine to run ace of spades on my mac with an intel processing chip.For the past few weeks i have been wanting to play this game on my mac. It doesn't seem to work no matter how hard i try and how many forums i read. I am able to run other windows programs on my mac through wine, but for some reason ace of spades isn't working. i would like to give this game another shot by using this program you have created. This is my last chance to play this game, and i would really like it if you could post this program online so i could download it.

hey for those who are arguing that people are too lazy to set it up themselves and that wine is really easy, take it easy, i started this topic so that we could get more mac players playing this game, its a beta so wouldn't having a bigger player base make it better? and this game is a lot of fun and happy that i got it working after many days trying to get it to be as easy as possible. i would post instructions on how to set it up but i myself find that this game is a little bit trickier to get up and running. So i am willing to post my game to mediafire most likely depends, i cant do it at the moment but in the next few days will post a link, so until then... i will be changing the name that appears in game so first one to post a good name, i will change it and upload and post link here so stay tuned! thursday it will be up here!

thanks for the link temmeh but that is quite lengthy and confusing easier just using wineskin but i will upload the mac version of ace of spades shortly

sorry to everyone the last link was version 0.36, i forgot to post it and did not know there was a new update. and so here is version 0.41! i will post a tutorial later on how you can upgrade the game yourself so i don't have to keep posting each version. so as of now here it is ace of spades version 0.41:

wow the creator is updating the game a lot so its hard to keep up to date. so here is the latest 0.42! so please enjoy adn if this changes in the next few days i will post a tutorial thta will teach you how to update ace of spades on your own! Please enjoy!
