Rifle: Decrease Headshot damage. Reason: Close-Range headshots with instant kill? Camping with it? SMG: Increase damage, accuracy. Reason: SMG feels like a sidearm, the rifle feels like the main weapon. Add a sidearm. |

Ummm... your kind of SUPPOSED to camp with the rifle. As for nerfing head damage, at close range, it's usually luck to get one anyway. As for the SMG, the damage is fine. It's intended for close-quarters, and has a very high rate of fire. 3 hit kill SMG, anyone? |

The rifle may be a shining light for spawn-camping dueces everywhere, but that's not it's primary use. It's used for long range fire-fights. That said, the headshot damage should stay the same, as it rewards players for having skill when sniping. |

I spawncamp, but I'm up for anything that nerfs spawncamping, such as invincibility for 5 seconds upon spawning. But not decreasing headshot damage, that's straight up bullshit that would do more harm than good. |

^ lol. I really want to test out the new accuracy of the rifle once 0.55 is released. I'm sick of shooting 4 rounds directly at someone's head, missing all of them, then getting dropped in one shot because they decided to shoot two feet to the right of me. The current rifle almost encourages luck shots and shit aim. |

Well headshot with smg is 49 (or a bit lower) damage so no 2 shot kills with smg. |

Definitely saying no to nerfing rifle headshot damage. It's just as Kaede said, utter BS. As for the SMG, keep the damage and perhaps give it better accuracy at mid-range. |

I know this may not be a popular opinion, but I'd like to see all weapons kill with a headshot. Only dying after three shots in the face off an SMG seems excessive to me. Now, as it stands with the SMG, it would overpower it a lot, but, if/when dynamic crosshairs are implemented, wildly spraying with the SMG would (hopefully) be more inaccurate than as it stands, meaning it needs to be fired in short, controlled bursts to maintain a semblance of accuracy and get the crucial head-shot. I'd also like to see the hipfiring accuracy lowered drastically as well. This makes CQB frantic, and long range battles calculated, like it should be. |

CQB is already pretty frantic to me, but then again maybe that's because I don't like anyone coming within 5 feet of my personal space. The new dynamic crosshairs will hopefully cover the hip firing accuracy as well. |

Personally, I would prefer the SMG to an assault rifle status. There are times where even in CQC going fully auto point blank doesn't work. |

And at long range, SMG's pose no threat. If, on Bridge Wars, there is an SMG user in the water, and I'm up on my cliff, I don't even need to take cover because I know I can take a minimum of three bullets before I die, so when I get hit I can just hide. There is no fear of going up against SMG users. The worst thing they can do is tear up your cover for the riflemen to get you. That is why I'd like them to be headshot one hit kills. It forces people to think "Should I try to hit them and risk getting killed myself, or should I relocate?", makes them deadlier in CQC and also makes them an effective suppressing weapon. |

Smg is fine, just increase fire rate. @Influx, you can kill people at long range with the smg, it's just not very often, it's ridiculous up close though. |

Disabling the rifle's damage against players would be quite silly. In fact, if it's meant to represent a WWI - WWII-era infantry rifle (an opinion that many members of the community hold), it should probably have a fair shot at killing instantly to the torso as well, although I'm willing to let that slide. Most infantry weapons of that time period were pretty powerful and very accurate, so it makes sence that the old version was so damn devestating in the hands of a good player. |

You got shot in the head. Seriously, if a rifle didn't kill someone with a direct hit to the head And I suggest hits from an SMG ruining the victim's aim. |
