This is a topic about traveling. Where have you traveled? What was it like? |

I have been to Every Continent Except for Africa, Australia, and Antarctica. Currently in China, great place, everything is pretty cheap, large cities, great views, but I can't connect to half of the servers on here >.> |

The farthest afield I have travelled was Florida (I'm from the UK), and me and my family had a villa with a glass-covered swimming pool on the back. I can't remember where exactly in Florida I was, but it was close to Disney World - might have been Orlando, but I can't say with certainty. I've been to France several times - Paris a few times - it's good but really expensive, and the Cote d'Azur, but only once. Had a great time there and the vista flying in and out is breathtaking if you get a daytime flight. Spain is a place I've visited many times - usually the islands, although I have stopped in Benálmadena near Málaga. The cable car to the top of the mountain is pretty scary when you're about 100ft above the ground. I've also visited Gibraltar for a day visit whilst I was there and crossing the runway in a coach was an odd experience. Never got to go to the top of the Rock, though. Greece is a good place, although with the huge debt it's in, I can imagine prices are going up and up. I've been to somewhere near Thessaloniki, although I was too young to remember the name of the place. I've also been to Tsilivi in Zante. The beach with the marooned tanker is very nice to see, and the natural aches in the north are magnificant, and there is a sulphurous pebble beach on the East side of the island - smells very strongly of eggs, but good for the skin apparently. The water is unnaturally blue there as well, and the captain of the motorboat we had showed this by sticking a whitewashed plank of wood into the water. I've been to Bulgaria twice, both in the same resort (Sunny Beach, near Nessebar), and it was fantastic both times. Walking around Old Nessebar is like being in Medieval times. I'm also heading for Crete in a few weeks' time - Malia to be precise on a boozy piss-up holiday. Chances are I'll have no stories to tell on that place because I'll have forgotten about what I did. I'd love to visit the Caribbean eventually, and also Australia. I think Australia is one of those places where you just have to go before you die. Everyone I know who has been there love it. Wow. This turned into a travel documentary somehow. Kudos if you read through it all. |

I've always wanted to go to that Cathedral being built in Spain. I admire it's architecture and size. |

I definitely want to visit Australia. Before I do that though I want to visit Germany. I wouldn't mind a visit to China and Japan sometime either. I know both of those countries have some good views. I'd also visit Canada just for the sake of it. Not much reason to it, I just want to go there sometime. I haven't been able to leave the US, I've always been here. I'd love to visit another country sometime. I've been some places though, I've been all over the US... Well, a big triangle over the US. I've lived in Hawaii and Connecticut and visited Florida, and and almost all the states in that triangle., a few outside it too. As for locations of relative interest, I've been to New York and seen the Statue of Liberty, the water around it is hideous... I've been to FAO Schwarz, the big toystore there, also seen in the movie Big. I've also seen the outside of a few NBC News buildings, like where the TODAY Show is shot, lol. In Hawaii I've been to... Well, lesse, there's that beach I lived by, and that one zoo... I think... I don't remember too much, I was a kid. Pearl Harbor memorial, a Buddhist temple... Yeah. As for eveywhere else: Probably a hotel or McDonalds. |
