When sumone starts a votekick the screen freezes and goes dark, and a box appears showing a Y and a N and the person being kicked, and the reason, and you must press either y or n to get back to the game, when everyones voted the game continues.

To stop AFK'ers ruining the game the vote automaticly ends after 15 seconds, which is more then long enough for enough ppl to press y or n.

Votekick would become even more of a griefer tool. Just make the votekick menu large and hard to ignore, and people will vote just to remove it.

Then griefers could lie about someone else griefing, perhaps the person with the highest score, and get them kicked.

Or how about a small box that pops up and makes a noise?

make it after you die the screen pops up, and you cant spawn untill you vote. It wouldnt interfer with gun battles/people, but you can play untill then. Idlers wouldbt respawn

In a CQC moment, the person with quicker reflexes will click Y or N first and win.

Please explain why it's so important that everyone votes? I never do if I don't know what it's for and can't tell if it's for a reason.

Don't know about others, but if I'm *forced* to vote I'm automatically voting for no, unless I know for sure that the vote is for a reason. So yeah, to me it's the same wheather I vote or not and waiting times, freezing screens and box with noises are only making things worse for everyone.

I like asdf's idea. Just place the Votekick menu in the center of the screen WRITTEN IN BOLD LETTERS and you can't get it out unless you either vote or the voting ends in 15 secs.

Just a note, there should be a minimum required number of voters to initiate a votekick. How many, I don't know.

Hell, there would be a bunch of vote kicking noobs with one kick after another, The screen would go dark and freeze every time a vote kick is finished, and wouldn't the people who vote faster get a advantage over the afk people still voting.

Just what Tyler said. What's the point of crying about griefers if people are only giving them more weapons?

I found a good way to do it though, is box in the greifer and kill him 4+ times when he removes a block, then iniate the votekick and say hes a greifer. The teamkilling that comes up on everyones screen proves to them that he's atleast destroying blocks, and makes it more believable.

^ Just place a block on his head, and when he breaks it, teamkill him. Then just repeat until he ragequits. It's much easier than trying to corner him, and it's worked for me before :D

but to get it on his head you need 3x1 in front of him, right? Thats what I meant by "box in" to make his screen mess up

Its important that everyone votes, because at the moment only around 20-30% of players actaully vote. And its hard as fuck to kick sumone,

1 votekick per day is far far far too little. I think we should be encouraging votekicks, not discouraging them.

Sigh. For realzies, you want to encourage votekicks. They're the only way to kick griefers, hackers, and other abusers. Lots of people in this game are retarded and don't vote or start votes. The people who rightfully start votes shouldn't be limited as to how many they can start because it's not like you only see one griever a day. It's usually that if you dont' kick them, nobody will.

Meh I don't think voting in a votekick should be mandatory. Something like this (where the screen freezes) would make me InfiniRage.

^ alls you have to do is quickly tap y or n. depending on the situation. the longest youl ever have to wait, is 10-15 secs, max.
