*Now that Markus was freed from his prison in Silver Rapids the group could continue on to LA. After many nights they finally are near LA. As the draw closer to where the city will be the smell of burnt wood gets stronger. Jinx thinks back to the good times before the zombies and War Corps. He thinks of Smiley and how she managed to make him happy without doing anything, how she could never stay mad at anyone, and how she made him feel when she said she loved him. Jinx wipes away a tear.

The group is traveling down hill now. Strangely, there is no grass here. Nor is there road. Jinx looks around and notices that the down hill slope is round and circles the area. The group stops. Markus speaks up...*

"We are here."
"What do you mean, we are looking for LA."
"Jinx, this is LA."
"I don't get what you mean, Markus. This isn't LA, this is a large pit."
"No, it is a crater. The US government needed to make an attempt at stopping the zombie virus from spreading. I guess that this is how they did it. They nuked it Jinx, they blew it all up."

*Jinx is enraged by the calmness in Markus' voice. He rushes Markus and throws him to the ground. He begin to shout...*

"How can you be so calm, Markus. Everyone, including Smiley is dead. And you are cool and collected. What the hell. I was going to see Smiley again. God Damn it, Damn it all!"
"Jinx, calm down. You will see her again. This is better than I had hoped for. This is perfect even."
"What the hell are you talking about. How is finding a crater instead of LA perfect?"
"The government owned the city, War Corps owned everything under it."
"Wait, you mean-"
"Yes, the safe house is under ground. Now help me look for the lead door. It should be in the foundation of one of the buildings."

*So they looked and looked. Not to long afterwards Pinky finds the door. Markus enters a code and the door opens, and a long staircase is before them. They walk for a long time until coming to a large cavern. Inside the cavern is another city. The group can see people and cars move through the city. Markus tells the group that the city is called Freedom city. It was a last resort of War Corps in case of nuclear war. He leads them along a metal walk way above the city to a large metal door. Markus puts a code in a dusty keypad nearby. Then the metal door swings open. Inside is Smiley. She looks much paler and skinnier than what she looked like before the mission. She walks up to Jinx and embraces him in her arms. After a while she lets go and walks over to Markus. She slaps him and doesn't say anything. She goes back and starts to talk to Jinx.

Markus hears something behind them he turns around to see a little boy on the walkway behind them. Markus, Sprite, and Pinky all have guns pointed at him. Markus whispers "Don't move." The boy turns and starts running. He is shouting "RAIDERS, RAIDERS ON THE CROSS WALK!" Markus has to choose now. Make a run for the stairs, or stop the boy. He has to pick now.*

--Okay, Jinx and Smiley are reunited, but for how long. Make your choice about the escape, Do you run for the stairs or stop the boy. It is up to you.--

*after searching for countless hours in test chamber 92...
there is someone inside but the door is jammed so*

*a small charge of explosives open the door*
*"oh my god..." sprite looks and remembers fond beginnings
Jinx then stabs her with his chems and she returns to normal
