Did another map. 2 keeps battle it out! Lot of room for tunneling. You can get the file here: Please add a post here if you are running this map on your server. i am in hawaii, but i can play on Dallas, and all the west cost servers pretty well :) Any feedback would be appreciated. |

Thanks CH :) Loooking forward to playing this one myself. I have only tested it to make sure the bases are not in the middle of the ocean. The screenshots are from in the editor, i am really starting to like the new lighting setup I made for texturemaker. |

Looks great. I like how the land is small so the fighting should be concentrated kind of like it is on pinpoint. No doubt it will be griefed in minutes though. Oh well, pyspades to the rescue. I look forward to playing on this as well! |

Glad you guys are liking it:) The water is done with the tears,variate and erode noise filters. Then I variate the veins generator over the entire image. I will try and do a script so you guys can make water like this with a button push. I left the keeps at a bare minimum, so that the players can work on building defensive structures, and tunnels. I put the bases almost at sea level, and the town too, so that the players are urged to tunnel into the forts along with a frontal assult. I am starting to get the hang of texturemaker again. i am spending less time on the tool tweaking and more time on the layout. i just follow a recipe for doing the heightmap, and the texture and lighting map is nearly fully automatic. My biggest problem with the shadow map baking, is that some of the edges get "over done". They end up nearly black, so i am spending time going over everything, removeing the burned parts. The above map only took me 20 minutes to make. i am hoping the next one will be only 15. :D Thanks for all the comments. will be back with an even more epic map :p . |

Just took a look around it in voxed. It would be awesome if you hollowed out some of the towers with floors and windows for snipers. |

Hey thanks for hosting! Was playing this map this morning with 4 people, Lots of fun :) I might try and hollowing out a couple of the towers, on the edges of the map. Anyone know hoe to set the default fog color? the light blue is making my eye bleed. i Would like to make it a smog greenish red. |
