In light of 0.58, I decided to "rush" out Spadille 1.4.7. The mod manager has been updated for the shotgun and other new files.

Server Admins:

A new feature in Spadille is the admin tools. With 0.58, a ban list and admin list are now implemented. There exists a easy way to manage these lists. Additionaly, there is an option to "sync" with the global blacklist. This feature will fetch the latest blacklisting and append it to the existing banlist. Any subsequent syncs will appropriately add any new bans, as well as remove any bans which have been removed from the global blacklist. None of your bans will be affected.

So does the spadille banlist automatically integrate with the standard vanilla server or does it just work with Pyspades? Or does it modify your firewall to block connections from that specific IP address?

It will be optional for server admins to sync with the list. The blacklist will be appended to the existing banlist.txt that has been included with 0.58. It already works with pyspades and is updated every 5 minutes.

swweet update! it seems to run a lot better now. not that was ever bad before, just something i noticed.

Yeah, the list refresh/processing is a lot faster and memory usage has been improved.

nice. it wasn't bad or anything before, it ran smoothly. I just noticed that it was even smoother than before. I also like the new admin tools, although i never host.
