Shotgun spread

Right now a lucky shot might kill an enemy at rifle range.
I'd like to see the spread to be more even, so that you don't either get a horribly tight death cluster nor do you get a shot that scatters the pellets around half the globe.

What do you think happens when you shot an actual person with a shotgun at that range?
