I think the creator should expand on that a little more. but not too much

I think all the game needs is either some regular background rumbling noise or a background music thats not IN YOUR FACE- type of stuff.

Yeah, the sounds in this game play a very great role imo. We need more/better war-sounds from far away. Would increase the atmosphere even further.
Some sort of swoosh-/noice-sound when you survived a nearby exploded grenade would also be nice.

or in the background there would be continuous machine gun fire and explosions. I hate listening to the sound it makes when i jump

I'm pretty sure that there'll be more sounds in the future.
