Special characters in name

Hi there. I'm trying to make a name using special characters like • and ♠, but they're not exactly working. In game, they show up as funny little letters with accents. Anyone know how to get them to work, or if not that, then which ones do work (if any)?

Ace of Spades uses the CP437 character set, so not all characters are in it. You'll have to use a hex editor on the configuration file if you want to use some of the special CP437 characters.

Maybe bcoolface should change the character set to something like CP1252, which is way more standard, I guess.
