Frankly, the rifle is just TOO powerful. I love the rifle, in fact, I love it so much that the other two guns just don't even seem that worth it. The rifle has a very fast firing rate, AND is super accurate, does not suffer from recoil, and is perfectly wieldy at any range, especially since it is automatic. If the rifle's RoF were lengthened, people might actually stand a chance to find the sniper shooting at them. If not, then at least reduce the clip size to make people more cautious with their shots. |

At close range the recoil is negligible even on full auto. And it's got a 10 round magazine. It's not even that bad at long range. A shotgun has 6 shots, it has far less range then a rifle, a slower ROF, and is only marginally more powerful except at extreme close range. A guy with a rifle is just as likely to pick you off with a headshot before you even get close. My point is that the rifle just doesn't have any weaknesses. The machine gun is inaccurate, the shotgun is close range. |

It depends on the map. The SMG can tear through defenses on maps like pinpoint and assault, the shotgun is good if you think you're gonna run around a corner and have to kill a dude, like in the Favela map. If you're trying to clear out a fort or run around a dense urban map with a rifle, the other weapons are gonna have the advantage. |

Hell, in basically every FPS ever the sniper has a low RoF, doesn't have much ammo, or it has an insane kick and is wildly inaccurate unscoped. "rifle become inaccurate when you fire too quickly" It doesn't. The rifle will always fire at the center of the radical. Unlike the SMG and shotgun. The kick is pretty manageable even at medium range. At any range the rifle is basically a headshot master. Who needs a shotgun for close range when you can almost surely get a headshot instead? There's no penalty if you miss, since it can fire really quick. |

How about we make it more snipery then with slightly, just slightly lower rate of fire and make body shots do less damage so you can still snipe peoples heads off? |

i think that making it fire a little slower would be good, it's kind of better than the shotgun at close range, it seems. i'm not really sure, maybe make it a little less accurate if it is going to have this rate of fire |

well, i mean, if you miss(or it doesnt kill), the guy with the rifle gets to shoot before you do. maybe making the pump a little bit faster would be good, but i dont know |

Headshots will stop any amount of charging soldiers dead. Unless you have the element of surprise or ANOTHER rifle, there is no way to safely dispatch a rifleman. |

Besides the fact. The rifle is still better then the shotgun at close range. Since the shotgun doesn't get headshots. It takes 2 shots for the shotgun to kill at close range. The rifle needs 1, and it fires twice as fast with far less recoil then the shotgun. How is that balanced at all? |

i think the shotgun actually is a 1 hit from short - medium range, but yeah, the rifle is still a better close range gun than the shotgun, it usually beats it in most fights, i have noticed |

And when they aren't damaged? I've used the shotgun, shot riflemen at point blank, and then been headshotted right back before I could even get a second shot off. Very commonly. Rifle>Shotgun at closerange. |

You know, instead of making the rifle a friggin bolt-action they could just improve the consistency of damage that the shotgun inflicts and reduce some of the recoil of the SMG (though not too much- the SMG is practically a sniper-lite already). That way the rifle nubs can bask in pre-.53 nostalgia while those who don't choose a rifle can still stand a chance. |

the SMG is fine as it is, i agree with you that it is already a good one. but maybe what would be a good idea is to: give the rifle less ammo per clip, then raise shotgun pellet count, or just the second one, clip size does not really matter for that type of gun |

That's why the rifle should have its RoF decreased, because clips can be reloaded out of battle, but it takes time to shoot at a moving target. Make people have to be more careful with their shots. |
