    Map features:

    Single bottleneck in center (like Pinpoint).

    2 modest bases, with lots of flat area to build.

    Base area nearly fills the zones. (no deep sea diving for intel, or swimming to shore.)

    Lots of trees. (no birds oddly.)

    Nice peaks in the center to build your snipper points!

    Beachfront access for all you shotgun and SMG fans out there.

    Center is narrow to limit grenade spam. (you will need to be aiming at something)

    center path is only 3 destroy able blocks high, so no griever pit-traps in the nexus. (but in the jungle, there are no rules baby, booby trap away!!)

    Can the server admins please set the maps to restart, rotate or rollback after 5-10 rounds? It is still fun if you do not, just better atmosphere. Can be set to TD or TC too so after so many kills or enemy blocks destroyed the map refreshes. Thanks guys :)

    yea, I got a lead on server rentals, hope by monday I can have the map running on a server for you guys to come and help test, or just look around :)

    Dude, why are you talking about renting a server? You just need to forward your ports and have a stable internet hook up and you can host from your PC.

    I wanna host this map to see how it plays... but it's too late to do it tonight.

    Would love to play this either way.

    Looks like a great map, the bottleneck isn't as tight as pinpoint's which I think is a good thing, more cover. Very nice.

    The water is much better in this one- unless a green intel runner is shot way out near the border of the map, the blue intel should still be visible on the map if dropped in the water.

    Yea, Verizon goes out of their way to throttle any type of uploading. I get 2k data uploads ,unless I want to pay $150 a month for a commercial account. Not only cant I host, but some times I cant play online games at all.
    I get 350 ping playing on my own server (average from west coast is 30-100 ping)

    As far as the water goes, it is unfortunate we can not specify the team colors on a per-map basis. It would rock if we could have 2 tan tones for desert combat maps, white and light blue for snow maps,khaki green and pale yellow for jungle maps.
    The way it is now green almost always has a slight advantage in green areas, where blue has an advantage in water areas.
    The only 2 universal color combos I can think of is orange and red, or perhaps red and white... white gets trumped on snow maps though. Red and orange are rarely used on terrains or water.

    If i go Muddy looking water, it will be hard to distinguish between the land and ocean. Green water then green gets a total advantage all over the map. red water is out of the question unless I do a lava map(which i am not going to , kill traps suck.)

    I am going to keep trying to make the water as light as possible, so both teams contrast on it in the 3d view, while in the 2d map view it should work out too. It is a damn shame that the points on the map do not blink. People are constantly adding color bricks to trick people where the intel is. If it simply blinking, or had marching ants like in GIMP,PS and paintshop, it would be impossible to hide them.

    Right on guys! I saw Shams server running it earlier today too. I got to pop in and say hi before my computer crashed.

    If i see you running MegaDeuce, i will stop in and take feedback and requests :) Thanks for your intrest.

    Well, back to mapping :) I have my laptop all working now so I can actually play longer than 5 minutes at a time. i am going to pop in and out for an hour at a time today if i can.

    i can definitely see that happening if the team does not play a good defense.
    I will watch close tonight and see if there are any sweet spots i can block.

    When playing on Shams server this morning, we really had a lot of fun. later on i was playing on the clan server, and the guys where going nuts in the center building bases.

    Just playing.
    Everything seems to be just fine. Here are the optimum settings for this map it seems :
    Pyspades roallback after 5 captures
    Day night on 8)
    Dirt grenades off.
    TC game mode or TDM with the intel elements left. (rollback after game win)

    Offence is just as important as defence. Make sure your team is defending, and building a base before you start hitting the enemy base.
    Seems like the team that wins has nearly equal amounts of both O/D.

    Using the rivers is the key to getting the SMG and shotgun guys over to their base, cover them in the center, so they can get in the the rivers on the other side.

    All peaks are important, if possible try to get outposts built, and manned with snipers on all peaks.

    Make fake enemy tunnels under your base that leed right in front of where your snipers watch the front wall.

    Some really neat little fortresses poping up. I am impressed with the player made sniper towers too. You guys make some really cool stuff :)
