So, I was thinking about what role the SMG plays: Generally (VERY GENERALLY) it is outdone by the rifle at long-mid range, and outdone by the shotty at close-mid range. My suggestion is this: Make the SMG the 'stealth' gun. No tracers, and either a very quiet, or silent, sound for it, as if it had a silencer. I think this would balance it out, and it isn't a huge change. To clarify, there should be SMG sounds client-side, but maybe not server-side (or very quiet server-side) Watcha think yall? |

I feel that exact same way. make it silenced or remove tracers. I would really make it better. also select-able burst fire would be nice. but i don't know about others opinion on burst fire. |

i think the SMG is actually fine as it is, it is basically just a rifle that is fully auto, and slightly less accurate |

The SMG is awesome already - I can pretty much headshot three green kiddies no problem and I have a magazine with 3x the amount of bullets that the rifle does. If the SMG becomes silenced it's going to need to have more recoil and a bigger cone of fire. |

so learn how to sneak on people, get the unsuspectingly, or get people behind walls. Its the user, not the gun |
