Ok I actually listend to the song, it would be cool to hear this when getting the intel.
You know SWB2? the music in that game is so well timed! I'm the empire and I'm crushing the rebels, 20 more kills till I win and battle of heroes starts playing. It really sets the atmosphere and AoS should follow the same path.

If not then snipets of music could be randomly played like minecraft?

I can't link videos at the moment (Im using my Wii :3) but look up Battalion Wars 2 music and Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey music on youtube. Incredibly epic music. I also have another link to AMAZING music but Idk the name of the link so I can't post it, sorry.

check out milkytracker and goattracker, they dont seem very hard to use. there is also one called famitracker or something like that, i think i know somebody who learned it well enough pretty quickly.

maybe something like the music in castle crashers or doom would be good
