I think other players should be able to see your skin mods so they can marvel at your cool BA gun and see your ghillie suit to know that you mean business. I dunno, just a suggestion. |

That wouldn't work. The Voxels are too coarse for anything like a 'ghillie suit,' and doing so would breach the maximum dimensions that the models have. |

Too easy to exploit and I don't want to see your Sephiroth skins |

You probably couldn't do one of those either. |
#5127 OVERLORD Member Posted 13 years ago |
sure you could |

whats a sephiroth? and havent you guys seen those glilliensuit skin mods? |

You could ( if script-able) to have something like what MineCraft does. You can upload the skin to the web site and when you are in game you have that skin. You would still have either Blue or Green Helmet on but otherwise very editable. |

@Anaconda There aren's skins in the game. |
#5145 OVERLORD Member Posted 13 years ago |
@OVERLORD, You can change your player "skin". |
#5147 Jackster Member Posted 13 years ago |
You can change the model, using voxel-editing software such as SLAB6, Voxel3D or Paint3D. The 'Skin' like in Minecraft, is a texture, which folds around the model. Sort of like wrapping paper. AoS is different. The game has no textures, but instead it has coloured Voxels, which are like raycasted pixels, projected in three-dimensional space. |

@OVERLORD very good point there. I forgot that in minecraft it wraps around the model of the character. But it would still be cool to change your skin but have the same green helmet on so you know who's who. |

Team colours are represented by black voxels on the models. You can make the models however you want, so long as they don't breach the dimensional restrictions. You just need to include some black on them to indicate team alignment. |
