    Another vehicle thread...

    Some basic ones

    Light Vehicles (Humvees, ATVs, anything light and has only wheels)
    Can go up 1 block steps, like our auto climb.
    Half steps will allow them to do jumps.
    They go 45% slower in water and can get out via half step.
    They are the fastest and most light armored. Only Rifles and SMGs + explosives/other vehicles can damage them.
    The most they can have as weaponry is a HMG with fast overheat.
    Random blocks in their way will be destroyed if they are going fast enough while dealing damage.

    Tanks
    Can only go up half steps
    Go 60% slower in water and require half steps.
    1 random 1 block high blocks will be destroyed
    They are the slowest and most heavily armored vehicles, You need other tanks, or explosives to kill it.
    If they are going fast enough, they can ram through (Length of tank)x2 (XY) block walls while dealing little damage to itself and slowing it moderately.
    Very limited amount per team
    All tanks have a co-axial gun and a main howitzer. The main howitzer fires rounds that insta-kills and breaks blocks in a 3x3 area. Fires slowly.

    Transport Vehicles
    Moderately fast
    Average Armor
    Can hold up to 6 passengers and someone in shotgun along with the driver.
    Same ramming aspects of the humvee
    Cannot jump, but can go up a 1 block incline
    No weapons
    Requires half blocks to get out of water.

    Half Blocks
    Choose either these or regular blocks
    Comes in a set of 60
    Can be placed over water and over blocks
    2 half blocks placed over each other form a regular block
    regular blocks can be placed over half blocks
    1-hits by pick axes.
    Cannot be placed on a side, must have a block under it.

    Panzerfaust (Takes up the grenade slot)
    1 Shot disposable - 1 shot and you're done. No refills besides death.
    Takes up grenade slot - Pick between this and the grenade
    3 second prime time - After you press fire, you are open to fire from both side for 3 seconds. During this time a nice firework display happens at the barrel of the RL. Very hard to miss.
    Arming Range - Must go at least 15 blocks to explode, otherwise it hurts like a rifle bullet, except it breaks a block in 1 hit.
    Long Range - Goes 25 blocks past fog. Then it drops and acts like an un-armed rocket.
    Forced aim - You must aim down the sights to fire
    Terribly Inaccurate - Large spread
    Slowed switch - After firing, you switch to your primary weapon (or pick if you ran out of ammo. Sidearm if that has it's own slot. ) with a 2 second delay.
    Slow rocket - It does accelerate, but you can still dodge it.
    Radius - Grenade

    Satchel Charge
    Can be switched out with grenade
    After being placed, it detonates in 40 seconds. explosion is around a 4x3x3
    rectangle。 Anything in the range dies,damage radius is around 60 damage within 3 blocks, 30 within 5, 10 within 7. All figures is accordingly outside of the actual explosion. Can be resupplied and carries two. must be within a block to place. Disarmed by hitting it with a pickaxe. Makes a semi-loud ticking noise that gets faster and faster. Not as loud as a gunshot, but if you're just walking around it would be like a faint tick.

    Land Mine
    Switched out with grenades
    Carries 2 with resupply
    Shown as a small prick thing out of the ground when placed。Detonates when walked on。 Disarmed by mining out the block。Anyone within a block dies, Anyone within 2 takes 50. Destroy's the block it inhabits。

    I don't like the idea of half-blocks. I think that vehicles would have to be able to work with the map as-is.

    There's already a code for auto-climb, if you modeled a vehicle as three auto-climbers that are always a set distance away from each other (think tricycle), you could define the angle and height the vehicle would be at for any given location on the map. Then you just render the vehicle at the appropriate angle and you're done.

    You could even set limits on how steep the vehicle could go, to prevent unrealistic climbing performance.

    Ramming a tank through a wall would be pretty epic, tho

    Not too long. I have typed a thing on a forum more than 10 paragraphs, making it along the way, under 40 minutes.

    That sounds nice, if I understood it How would you be able to go up? I kinda understand, but the tricycle part befuddles my brain. Stupid it down a bit.

    And yes, people hiding in fear of a built wall in Swamp Canyon, some tank shots are heard, then BOOM. The tank drives in along with a squad of reinforcements.

    If in doubt, we could make it a killstreak.

    first: the mine should have more of a larger blast so that vehicles have a hard time getting around it!
    Second: when we get helicopters/zeplins in the game they should be able to carry ammo that you can drop on the battlefield!
