I was wondering if anyone (a TF2 fan) could make a TF2 map (preferably 2Fort) to go with oranges TF2 pack. |

Well you see, its pretty tough now to build a proper 2fort map without fixed player/intel/tent locations, as everyone would spawn in the fort at random places, intel is not more in the intelligence chamber, and the bridge would most likely be griefed, and it's hard to rebuild it with the snipers on top of the forts. Also when you fell in the water you can't go up again. |

2fort is a huge influence on my design. The old team fortress maps in general are great CTF layouts. i too wish we could set the spawn locations, the way it is now there is way too much space between the bases to do a proper 2fort remake. What someone could do is have the regular bases in between the spawn area, and the center of the map. The fortresses are there to guard the spawn and intel area. Would be sort of hard to do with all the spawn camping. I will give it another shot, next time I lay out a map. |
