I'm glad to release my first map: Cougar. Gallery: http://imgur.com/a/MICZe#X0HMe Features: - Setting: canyons. Download ZIP file (584 KB): http://www.mediafire.com/?xsiw5a1a8thrbla I've worked a lot on it, learning how to use a bunch of new software. I'd be happy to see it on any server. The map symmetry appeals to me. Looks a bit on the empty side to me though... needs props. |

Whats PSD? |

@Buffet_of_Lies I thought of adding some props like bunkers and underground bases because it would look cooler, but the terrain is too much accidentated and drilled. Gameplay wise, props aren't really needed in this map because it's fairly intrincated already. My next map will be more prop based, starting with a terrain designed for that purpose. My goals with Cougar were in other direction. I really appreciate your input ;) @[HK]Frosty It means it's a Photoshop file. You can open it with http://pixlr.com/ |

After testing the map online, I realize that it is too "big" and hard to navigate compared to most. Some learning is needed to play it well and it needs a lot of players in order to get intense action. Still, it offers a different experience. I think it's pretty enjoyable if you are looking for that kind of thing. I'll try to learn from this for my upcoming maps. That's my word ;) |

Really nice looking stuf here :) +1 for adding more props, Some green here and there would help break up the red. Also you might want to try painting layers in the rock so it looks more like sandstone. Will pop in for a look when I get a little more time :) |

Thank you for all your positive feedback! I could have done more stuff, but it was taking me a lifetime to finish and I wanted to turn the page. I'll take all your advices in account for my next maps: color variety, "hand" painted detail, props :) |
