Here's my proposal for the first ace of spades competitive event- The community chooses a date and a time, we get a server to host a custom map, register 24 highly skilled competitors to play and at the end of 2 hours we find the winner - whoever has the most kills.

-competitors
-a server to host the event
-an excellent custom map (something with aosfest written on it)

Sounds like a wonderful idea.

It would help showcase new maps, mods, and "Skin" packs, especially if you had someone designated to make and post videos from a spectator mode view. I Think pyspades has a script for this. Then we could have a Hi-lights video!.

Most of my maps are already laid out for competition, anything made after Pinnacle has backups, so I should be able to watermark the map for the "competition" version.

I would really like to go over Cord, and possibly forks. I have some better grief- proof structures i would like to add. (not to mention they look better :p) Also I have better trees that are easier to climb.

As for the time zone- If its 4 AM here in Australia it'll be 12:00 noon in calgary.
But i dont really have to be present for the competition, i just need the results. so if 12 noon in canada isnt okay just say so and you can all arrange an american time. And ill be left out D:
