    Since people were talking about statistics earlier, I'd like to throw in a concept for a player statistics screen.

    It's not much for five minutes work, but I figure it's good for the time being. Gets what's needed across, with some random things here and there.

    I also wish we could change the ingame font. It gets really hard to read at times, and I'd like to see a bolder font used. Got an example here, as well.

    Tell me what you think of the statistics screen and font, tell me what could be added or better, and submit your own ideas/examples as well. :3

    Good god, that font you suggested is horrible. The other idea is good though.

    Custom fonts is total shit, but the stats screen is okay. Here's my attempt at a stats screen.

    Added join date and kill/death ratio, and took away "rank" (whatever that is) and slapped on a "medals" section to take up space. Achieves are a totally different suggestion though, so just think of that as a space waster. You could put anything there!

    @outwrangle: Custom font is not what I want. I want a bolder, slightly larger font.

    Sometimes it's hard to read messages in the chatbox (especially on snow maps), and I figured a bolder font with some form of shading would be easier to read. That's all it was. :P

    As for the statistics screen you've made, asides from the deaths/KD ratio and font stretching here and there, I love it. The addition of timezones is awesome.

    And the "rank" thing was just something random I added, nothing real. :v

    @asdfzxc: It was just a random font I picked from a list. There are plenty of others, I was just trying to find a familiar, bold font. Good to know you like the idea of tracked stats, though.

    I'm OK with this. Half of the time the chat blends with the background and I can't read shit.

    if we're going to do a new chat font, something too serif-consolish will be ass to look at. That might be good for a statistics screen but usually you want to use sans for chats and headers in stats since we're not reading an official paper or walls of text

    I'd suggest using maybe a 1px black drop shadow on fonts (not too obtrusive, maybe 10% opacity) to help make chat fonts a little more readable as well.
