This map was named for 2 of my favorite legends here on the forums :)

Features:

** 2 Sexy bases! all laid out so you can set them as "protected" so people dont grief as easy by continually spawn camping. If the buildings stay intact, you can be sure that the spawn camping will not last too long. (impossible to totally prevent spawn camping.)

** Tunnels through hills for quick passage. Lots of cover inside tunnels.

** Caves, I hollowed out a few of the mountains to make the tunneling a bit more interesting... No more long straight shafts into infinity.

** Lots of tight little areas for you shotgun and SMG pleasure!

** Small map with lots of places, for maximum exploring pleasure, while still not too easy to camp.

** Caves make great discos!!! Thanks for playing on my server Rainbow dash! the disco in the cave was really cool!

** Flags are easy to change! ... Before I logged in for the first time, there was someone already there... one of my flags had french colors :) Really fun to see my map for the first time, with content I never put in there :)

If you are running a server, and you want to protect the bases just do this over your IRC bot:
.protect b4
.protect b5
.protect g4
.protect g5

Or in game:
/protect b4
/protect b5
/protect g4
/protect g5

That way only the front wall can be added to or destroyed.

I <3 this map, it just seems nobody host these with (I cant think of it, but that program people use for sitelogin, and ect) that program. I personally love all these maps you're making and hope more people will see that :D

Just downloaded those mods and love the dead guy!!! Can you add arms and add more?! Gonna edit the rifle abit?! I find it lacking quality :P I think if you add more you have yourself a well likeable pack ;D

That is a great idea Zeke :) I will look at my had disk, and select a fw of the nicer ones I did and put together a larger, more complete pack .

The server I use is Pyspades. It takes care of all the squads and the other cool mods!

If you have some ideas for this map, log into the server, play a bit, and drop me a message :)

If it says the server is busy give it about 15 minutes. I have it set to 10 caps until a rollback. When it rolls back, a few people usually take a break, and leave until the rollback is done,,,,

This is about the only time I can get in :)

Ok so this is what I like:

Many buildings
How you can go through the tunnel
It makes using most of the guns easy to use
Many ways to hide

This is what I dont like:

Isn't anything on the edges of the map, something sneaky ;D
Trees don't do as much, maybe make them bigger, all connecting and or bigger leaves
I think this map could use trenches, but it doesn't really mater
Both sides are equal. I find it interesting when they're both different.

Other than that this is one of my favorite maps. What I would liked changed is mostly the trees and sides. Trees because it seems they're always getting destroyed. It would also be nice as protection from people camping above. I always liked how some maps have sides that are different. I thought you could make each side with different buildings and styles. Im very interested in the idea of a jungle theme as you mentioned earlier!

Yea! My avatar is of Gomez Adams from "The Adams Family". I liked the Munsters better, but the look on old Gomezes face in that photo cracks me up.

I like the non-symetric map idea. I am getting tired of doing the competition-mirror maps.

I want to look into a script for a game mode called attack and defend. That way after each CAP everyone switches teams so that they are either on the attacking or the defending side.

The server commands already exist for switching the players team, and for doing something on the win event trigger (it does rollback now).

Trees are soon going to get a facelift in future maps... I am planning on tree-stands, sniper nests, and tree houses to make the trees a bit more useful.

Yes i use the heightmap tool i made with blender 3d, and Texturemaker .

Will be making a new post soon for you guys.

I have a way you can just make a quick height map, automatically get a decent looking texture, and then hop into Voxed to place trees and prefabs.

Hopefully it will let people with 0 experience hop in, and pop out a map in an afternoon that you can play with your friends that night :)

My last map Shaft was that way... i was just testing my heightmap tool and some semi-new prefabs.
My friend told me it looks like a face or a moth face, and I loled.... after a few hours the next day making prefabs, i decided to just use the moth-face height map i made, and a few minutes later it was on my server, and a hit! 2 versions later and it is a finished map now.

IzCool Keep is my best so far. I did it all in only 1 take! there is not bugfixes planned and I have almost been running the map 24 hours.

Currently looking into some extra servers... Appearently there are a bunch of people having a hard time getting in to play the map. So hopefully 1 or 2 new servers will fix that, along with resurecting a bunch of my old maps people are calling "classics". (Think I only started playing AoS like a month ago :).

Well, i am going to go and see if i can kick a deuce so i can play on my own server :p (just joking, My server is a "Deuce Abuse" free zone.

One Question though. What is the name of the spawn script you use one your server? I like that... helps gameplay a lot!

I like the art style you have in all your maps. It's very unique and they are fun to play.

whoevers hopsting, theres a guy named Mr. Beug who is hacking hardcore. He destroyed protected grids (the blue base) and is using the fy hack, after making the sky black so you can barely see him. He also spams the shotgun (firing at SMG speed) and since it doesnt have a traacer its hard to find him

He know has over 600 kills.....

...How come all your maps look the same :P

I use the Squad script to control the spawning, and I protect the base areas to keep spawn camping to a minimum :)

Server has been reset, and the new bans for the day have been added! Looks like I have some help from Aloha servers too, they are running 2 versions of this game!!
