The game will be a Voxelfortress 2, but with our own classes, and we will even let the community come up with the class ideas

We'll also include a hunting mode where you kill bears that have tommy guns and giraffes with chainsaws strapped to them.

the bear hunting sounds awesome, i remember i was disappointed when i found out the bears in cabela's dangerous hunts did not have jetpacks and chainsaws on their arms. this would be really cool, make sure to include things like whale and elephant hunting, too

Gamemodes we have so far:

-Hunt: Co-Op hunting mode

-Lulz on the Moon: Deathmatch with only moon gravity and grenade launchers

-Conquest: Capturing command posts for your team. Has a class system.

-Living Hell: All weapons available. No limitations, just causing a living hell. Includes some of the animals from hunt.

Alright, got it. Jumping into C/C++ for something that intensive will be pretty trivial, especially with minimal programming experience, but should be quite a learning experience.

We're just going to focus on the Lulz on the Moon gamemode (which sounds the easiest to make) first, so we can make a demo. We'll focus on the other stuff later.

First we got to pick and engine and get started on the assets. proper models and game modes and other fancy stuff are low priority.

We already chose an engine. We're using VOXLAP.
