    If seriosly, i think we need planes or helicopters, Boats arent needed there is no alot water,Cars will need roads.

    i thnk that we need 2 make the water depper so we cna go under water. and alow boats.
    therre should be a plane base in the water
    so you have a spot to take off from
    there should be 2 main weapons for the plane gun and laser gided missle
    ik im asking for alit but this would make the game cool

    well guys if you add vehicles you have to add a way for standard infantry to be able to counteract said vehicle so i am adding this to the compilation post i am doing.

    I think if the game were to have vehicles, maps would need to be much bigger. and probably have areas more suitable for driving a tank or jeep, like plains or randomly generated dirt roads; the hills and valleys we have now aren't the most befitting for land vehicles to drive up, down, and around.

    I also think that if the game were to have vehicles, they should be limited to maybe 2 of each type per team, and they would spawn in maybe like a vehicle depot that is designated by the map maker or via randomization. A tank for explosive, hard-hitting, offensive power, a jeep for quick transport, and maybe a half-track (basically an APC with a mounted gun and it looks wicked sick) for area defense and large troop transport.

    I agree with slenderman, in the post above. Infantry would DEFINITELY need a way to counteract vehicles, like mines & a rocket launcher (with super limited ammo, of course). And if said weaponry was to be added for the sake of anti-vehicle capabilities, I believe that they should do way more damage to vehicles than they should to players, so that people don't stroll around using a rocket launcher as a primary weapon, taking out individual foot soldiers.

    I think that tanks should have as much firepower as a grenade maybe 2 grenades and operates with 2 people, 1 driver and the other who controls the top half of the tank.

    Jeeps should travel 5 times more faster then walking speed and also carry 7 people, 1 driver, 1 gunner and 5 passengers. the gunner controls a gun that does as much damage as a rifle but as half recoil as the SMG.

    the jeep and tank should both be unable to travel 180 degree angled slopes.

    Transport Helicopters should carry 5 people 1 driver, 2 gunners with miniguns (the miniguns will have 2 as much recoil then the SMG) and 2 passengers.

    Fighter jets carry only the driver and should be the fastest vehicle out of all of them.

    If they do add helicopters and jets then maybe they should get AA guns or AA missle turrents (if you didn't know AA stand for Anti-Aircraft).

    Also boats can carry more people and like the jeep it should be faster then infantry.

    Infrantry should also have a more varitey of weapons such as RPGs, mones, C4s, miniguns etc.

    They could just make a survey just for vehicles instead of inclusing them in every server. Also when creating a server there should be an option if vehicles should be included and if so which ones.

    Yeah, I agree with the last part of your text wall. I don't think that there should be too many vehicles, because that could possibly lead to the game becoming based around them. I know that from playing Empires mod for HL2... Christ after the commander researches Bio on that game it's all vehicles all the time.

    well at the same time you often have to worry about proper game balance friend.

    I played a game a long time back where tanks and other vehicles where powerful but not difficult for a squad of infantry to topple. unless the tank was properly supported by other units.

    The other night i was thinking on classes and additions and when vehicles came up i promptly realized that a proper AT solution would be needed and not one that could be abused for heavy anti player my creation was a class who's primary weapon was a pistol that inflicted 20-40 damage per shot an fire rate was caped at 1200 RPM
    but instead of standard grenades carried AT-RPG launcher with 3 rounds that inflicted 100 damage.

    Promptly I ran into another issue if it inflicted 100 damage then it meant that the RPG was potentially open as a mass anti infantry weapons, I started messing around with the idea until it ended up being a rocket that dealt 100 damage to the thing it HIT and 25 as splash and also flew slow enough that it requires moderate leading and had to be aimed to be fired.. but it created a new problem being a standard grenade is now more applicable so I slapped the idea of vehicle lock on onto the rocket witch is moderately tricky to script but not impossible in the end I still don't know how to properly balance the rocket.

    Yeah that's just like the Grenadier class on the Empires mod. Pistol as a primary and a rocket launcher as a secondary. I'm also pretty sure that the rocket launcher does huge direct hit dam and only a little splash dam, making it optimal for anti-vehicle tactics.

    maps would have to be at least tripled in size to support such a tweak and everyone would be to concerned with grabbing veichles when they spawn and wouldnt fight so hard would they?

    yeah that means that it will put a nice bit of strain on the current game engine but given. the only real vehicle's the game would possibly gain any benefit from at its current size is static emplacements now where that IS cool i can see how things can become really really impossible namely with people digging the statics under the map like the tent.

    EDIT: this gives me a good idea for a suggestion thread tho.. BRB..

    didn't battlefield bad co. 1 do golf carts... yeah it did heh.. that was fun

    Slenderman was b4 enderman but its still a relatively new bogeyman

    basically slenderman was named because of his "slender" stature the idea is if you look at him or try to find out more about him he KILLS you.
    as a result he is incredibly enigmatic yet scary.

    a guy i met well playing air soft called me slender man after one of my two modes of dress i adopted a business suit and a ski mask with sun glasses (it was a cheep suit so i was never worried about ruining it i have a better one for formal occasions).

    i assume he called me that because the business suit you usually see slenderman wearing and the ski mask and sunglasses made it look like i had no face another thing that the popular drawn image of slenderman features.

    and possibly because i am really tall for my age and really, really skinny.

    probably just that last bit actually -_-
