I don't see anything wrong with the thread, as long as it doesn't become creepy or completely insane like the last one. Viper doesn't seem to mind.

Well if you think about it as time goes on there will be thousands of threads. Which will somewhat make the forum "lagier". Its kewl just my opinion, Ive even asked some of my threads to be closed :P

No. In 2 years, if the game last that long, so many things will be made it will make searching and finding threads also harder. I prefer to keep things "Lag-Free" for the people who do have lag.
