Just take time and reflect on that date, that event... And observe how far we Americans have come since then. Our people well remember, but they are a strong people. I see this as a day not only to be silent and remember, but also as a day to celebrate the lives that once lived and the brave Americans who worked hard to aid and mend the disaster the best they could and continue on through the pain that rises with the thoughts.

Even if you don't live in America, the terrorist attack probably affected your country too, as many country's economies plummeted because of less trade with the U.S.A.

On another note, I was watching a 9/11 memorial on National Geographic and heard the story of a woman who saved thousands of lives alone. It's amazing what people can accomplish when they think.
