Its a BS idea thats why, the rifle already has a cone of fire, in the future the sniper rifle will have reticle lag, but thats it.

I think sway is a good idea, bullet drop would be a turn off to new players.

I'd be fine with bullet drop, it'd make sniping more interesting. I think both are alright, but maybe not sway, that is kind of weird for some things

The bullet drop and even bullet leading would show who is actually good and who isn't

The fog's about 100 yards away. There's effectively no drop for a rifle round at that range, and precious little for a pistol cartridge (such as those used in submachine guns). Shotgun pellets would have a bit of drop, but the shotgun's so inneffective at fog distance that any drop simply wouldn't matter after the much larger issue of randomization.

It's not that I'm opposed to realistic gun dynamics (lack of bullet drop was one of the reasons I didn't like CoD MWII, actually), but at the ranges in AoS it would just be unnessecary clutter in the code. There's no reason to slow the game down with complex physics that would have so little effect on gameplay.

Maybe the scope extends the fog about another 100 yards and the bullet could DROP a bit not alot

well that's a good idea but you would have to lay out scopes so that they have the necessary display for ease of use (the Russians PSO optic has a fairly good handle on that *hint hint wink wink*) Idle sway I can't agree with due to above mentioned "cone" of fire but fall off is a fairly good idea.

We don't need realistic BS ideas.

    Scope? What scope?
    Somebody's been using custom iron-sights.

No on the bullet drop or sway, BUT if we ever get artillery or rockets or mortars or tanks there HAS to be realistic projectile motion.

PS- Bullet drop isn't complicated physics guys. If you think so, compare it to this.

@Rydogger: Not the finished product, but the look will be alot like this:

I'm sorry it wasn't done when I said it was. I'm half procrastinator and half perfectionist, which explains why it takes me forever to get stuff like this finished >.<
