How did you find out about the game?

A Minecraft player on teh youtube. cough Coestar cough

A friend of mine kept telling me "Dude you gotta try this game" and I kept shrugging it off for a couple days. I'm not much of a "gamer", more of a developer. Eventually I caved in and decided to try it and I've loved it since. I was previously playing Minecraft, but started getting bored with it.

ive recomended it to most of my friends that also play minecraft. One of them downloaded it the others want to.

It was "/v/iralled" on 4chan.

At the escapist- people were debating whether FortressCraft deserved the backlash it got. Most of the thread was people explaining why it does, but then someone said 'with ace of spades now out it's totally obsolete' and someone asked them what it was. He replied 'Minecraft meets WW1'

I think to myself "This I gotta see". I soon found the 10 reasons you need to play Ace of Spades article, and then looked up a few youtube vids, was amazed by this one in particular...

...and the rest is history.

@Traeg: I've even played one round with Coestar (and I'm quite sure he was real - he sent like 2 chat messages in half a hour - one being adressed to me for "blowing his cover" by sniping all blues from our bunker) and SeaNanners (100% fake - writing retarded stuff in chat in caps).
