I'm, as I write this, am dowloading TF2. I feel all gitty. One downside, I'm on a Compaq vista=250 MB ram. By the time I cahnge the graphics to somthing my comp. can run, it will look like an N64 game XD.

Also I've learned the steam "estimated install time" is always wrong.
Portal:Estimated time:5 hours
Real time:less than 30 minutes
TF2:7 hours
Real time:about an hour
BONK! Still gitty. :P

TF2 does not look very nice on my PC, but I think it is still playable, but it lags more than I'd expect, so I do not play it very often. I think it will probably be alright, I use some FPS configuration, to lower a lot more things

how are you running Vista with 256MB RAM? surely you have more than that

@PriokWell Portal runs pretty well besides the ocassional lag spike, the source engine is suprisingly light weight.
