    Just a suggestion that came to me so I thought I'd share it, dunno if it has been suggested in the past or not but...

    Why not set it so that you have to have recorded a number of kills (say 5 for example) for the colour team you are on before you can destroy blocks?

    Seems like it would stop people switching teams just to destroy defences and then hopping back again...

    Anyway, just an idea,

    lol some people just suck at the game and just build maye this would be just for pro servers like goon and jojoes servers cause u gota be good 2 play there
    plus most greffers can aim

    Yeah, I suppose, just thought it would act as a disincentive for griefing.

    I mean if you want to build or whatever 5 kills really isn't much but if you are just intent on griefing it's more of an annoyance to have to kill some people first... Perhaps not for putting blocks down but pickaxeing them and shooting them...

    Good idea. i was thinking of something along the lines of a tutorial for new deuces.

    Have it so they can only move at first, with instructions on the screen for the controls.
    After that stage, they get a new task, with the rifel.... then with the grenade.

    Have one of the requirements that they need to kill a bot, a player, or some target block on the map.

    Then they get to learn the ins and outs of building.

    This would only be effective on new Deuces tho.

    i like the idea of a kill quota that they need to meet. The only problem is when people are "base raping" you cant build a quick shelter.

    perhaps have it, so whenever the player makes something"topple" it makes them wait for a few seconds before they can dig again.

    Problem with that though is if they are trying to get the flag on Killroy, and it is on a tower or tree, it would really suck if they could not quickly build or destroy something to get the flag.

    I think they should get a limit per life. For example they could only destroy 10 blocks. If they destroy 20-50 in a certain amount of time they aren't allowed to brake blocks. So basically:

    10 blocks only, to destroy

    Destroy 20/50 blocks in less than 1-2 mins you either (1) cant destroy (2) get kicked

    What if it's an enemy structure made of 100+ blocks?
    What if a player is tunneling their way though to the enemy?

    Perhaps there could be a stamina based system, where if you exhaust yourself (break enough blocks in a short time) you have to wait a few seconds before you could break more blocks.
