youd be if you knew what i was talking about, but i will point it out for you in full sentence and mostly correct english

So I thought I would try using the command prompt (which is also known as cmd.exe) today, just because I got used to some other commands before and I wanted to test some functions. I fully understood the syntax of the so called command "copy", because it actually had a help file bound to it (syntax for getting help for a command: command --help). I tried some other commands and tried the command rename, I simply opened a textfile on the desktop and tried to use the syntax the same way I did with "copy", which would be like this: rename Desktop:\Textfile.txt "NAMEFUCK". It showed me the famous "Syntaxerror". I tried to get help from a help file, so I typed "rename --help", but the command rename doesn't have a help file for it because it does not have any functions.

btw i have figured out by now

also for those who haven't figured out yet
    the correct syntax would be

    rename "Desktop:\Textfile.txt" "Shitfile.txt"
