I Don't know about you guys, but this game is awesome, I repeat AWESOME!
And to maintain it's awesomeness you guys must put this ideas in the game.

Crafting:

If this is a mixture of Minecraft and Team Fortress, Why not Craft some Sentry posts ?
or some dispenser? It's always come in handy those kind of things, because when I'm Out of ammo, I need to go back ALL the way to get some, Same when your life is coming to an end, We always need to go back...

Why not have an "Resource Meter"?
This way, players can craft their own guns and stuff like that.

Wood -> For crafting Rifles
Metal -> for crafting bullets and another weapons.
Rare Plants -> For medical supplies.

Each minute, all the players get an amount of resources to craft.

I think this would be great for the game, Some crafting and some Construction/destruction :D

Well he has said that stratgey game type elements are in the works, but if it becomes:
OK I'll trade you 35 junk metal from a Power-of-Earth.
It would be out of hand, but we still need hats.

I dunno if they are working on the strategy thing, but this game would be far more epic with some "handmade" guns and equipment.
I'm saying this because the game would be ver exciting to play, like: "hey that guy has crafted a rifle! lets rob him!" and poof, there's you're rifle ready to loot, and to put on your precious home chest :D

yes... crafting chests for weapons and stuff... hhmmm another idea :D
like we would use some wood to craft chest for our belogings, that would be awesome would you agree ?

Well you also have to imagine that something like this would take many months to make, we don't even have a registry system.

With an inventory and sometimes if you get killed your killer gets one item from
your inventory, in the Chest the Items are Save, but you only save.. maybe 30 items in the chest, other items will stay in your inventory.
Maybe you can build own weapons with the Special Parts.
...wooden base is maybe the Semi
ironbase the smg
and...short wooden base
the other specialitems will add parts to the gun like a frontgrip or a better stock
you get all items and parts like in tf2.
you cant lost your starter weapons.

Other then that, most of the players like the game the way it (camping+raging+building without any strategy), so if it will ever be made it should be a script (mod) or an additional game mode in AOS itself.
