I think it would be awesome!
You have a crossbow, all you need to do is maybe modify it a little to perfect it (I haven't looked at it in a while so I'm not sure), then make the laser, and add sound effects.
It's up to you though if you want to make it and I think the wookie skin might me difficult, I'm not sure how you'd make that if you wanted to.
