Wireless Router

Does me playing off a wireless router have anything to do with my games being laggy/not connecting and should I change to a direct ethernet cable.

From what I know, yes it could, but I'm using a desktop computer so, I'm not sure.

It'll work fine, only a slight about ping increase, but no pain.

I'm using wireles and my internet FAILS!
But that's probably because my internet company doesn't give good speed to my area.
