I suggest a sandbox mode where damage and weapons are removed, and you could join a certain amount of teams... Blue: You can place/remove all other blue players' blocks. Not saying an infinite block count. |

Brojangles+1. Minecraft is for your building habits. AoS is a first-person shooter primarily, sandbox play is the second (admittedly awesome) feature of it. |

inb4minecraft Oh wait. (It's even in the tags, by the way.) I understand why people are mentioning Minecraft everywhere. However, Minecraft is not free, while AoS is. Also, Minecraft is a whole lot more resource-intensive than AoS. A "sandbox" or "build" mode would be good for some people, but only if done right. Griefing structures should be harder than building them. Having weapons on what is currently a 'build' server is always useful in case that guy on the other team starts shoveling your stuff down for no reason, so you can shoot him and send him back to his own spawn. OP's suggestion would give rise to a whole other kind of griefer. They would just go independent and place blocks everywhere in other people's structures. |

Both arguments false. |

This laptop I am currently on can barely run Minecraft at the second-lowest fog distance. Any further and FPS drops to <15. No such lag in AoS at all, no matter how much of the map is broken to pieces. Also, I am aware Minecraft Classic is free to play, if that is your point. I was referring to the game which is currently in beta, which is not free. (I should have specified Beta though, you're right about that.) If you're going to call my arguments false, at least provide some counterexamples. |

Because Minecraft wasn't designed for your 1995 piece of shit. >laptop hewheehehwehe |

Only positive i can see to this is with a decent amount of coding, someone could turn the sandbox game mode into a decent alternative to the map editor for people who are too lazy to learn all the ins and outs of the map editor. For the stuff for coding pickaxe: instantly destroy one block you would obviously make a 1 person server for yourself to work on maps, just my 2 cents. |

Umm... That certainly does NOT sound like Minecraft Beta. AND Minecraft Classic runs just as fast as AoS. |
