planes wouldn't work unless they where vtol, I humbly suggest blimps/dirgibles/zeppelins

Helicopters would be cool and work fairly well too.

Actually small zeppelins/blimps would work out pretty well- especially if they could shoot each other down, and maybe have enough room on board for a small raiding party. They'd be better for infiltration than choppers too, because they'd be capable of silent running.

I want choppers, though, the only thing blimps have going for them is being silent, but as soon as you saw a fucking huge as shit shadow you knew it was coming.

we need something like the falcon in halo reach, were you have 1 pilot and like 2 people who can fire from it, maybe vehicle has health so its not super sniper godiva place :3

ZEPPELIN! Zeppelins would be awesome and noire, the fault you pointed out effectively balances it, you can move across the map silently, however if someone looks up they will see it and try kill it (a few shots into the balloon should cause a crash) a helicopter would be too strong I think.

I'd prefer a zeppelin over a chopper merely because in vehicle fpses lately choppers are the new jeeps- they're everywhere. Far as I know zeppelins have only been done twice before, and they're a novel and different approach, that has many of the same benefits as a chopper. Besides, small arms fire wouldn't HAVE to be able to bring them down

I'm not asking for attack helicopters though, i want transport choppers.

Yeah, I know. Hell they'd work well enough. I think it's just coming down to personal preference.

(also call me crazy but I think the only thing more overdone than Omaha beach in games lately, is the 'downed blackhawk' scenario. It's like there's a law for modern warfare games that requires at least one chopper to crash in enemy territory every time or something)
