Connecting to Servers

Hey everyone, i'm new here. Do we need to host our own server in order to connect to another one? Cause the router i'm on i don't have the password for and can't make changes to the ports.

Nope just run the install and then click on a server. Its hard to get into them at the moment though.

You would only do the port forwarding/firewall changes if you are hosting.

ok good, cause that was a NIGHTMARE to setup when i was hosting minecraft.
