As stated, I have been hosting minecraft servers for quite a while now, along with a few other servers, a website (which failed miserably) and multiple other things like ventrillo, teamspeak 2-3 ect. For some reason, AoS fails to be hosted on my connection, I have portforwarded fine, (even used DMZplus to check) have all the settings correct, tried on other computers on my network, na da. I know that the server itself is running (used the localhost connection thing, forgot what it was) and i connected, yet i fail to connect though the server list and so do other people, whaddafuck. If you come on here simply to troll or say "l2portforward" then you are a complete idiot and need to go hang yourself in your closet. TL;DR: Server not working, portforwarded, DMZplussed, tried on other computor, works fine when using localhost, but no one else can connect. |

Jukel, nice help there.. he said he has portforwarded + checked that he had portforwarded correctly. I haven't seen solutions to this yet, but you are not the only one. |

Yea i know |

I've been in your situation, bro. Here's what I did (it fixed it somehow): 1. Delete the entire AoS folder (back up maps you want to save first) |

To test your port, open TS3 up and make a virtual server on AOS port. If you can not connect to the TS3 virtual server on that port that is what is up :) |

Ive tested the port with my minecraft server, my vent, and TS3 :) God willing :P |

I do not know what to tell you, Razor. I've done all the obvious things. Can connect to it locally... just cannot publicly connect. |

Im having the same problem, before ben makes any other changes, fix this one NAOW! |
#10943 Razor Member Posted 13 years ago |
Here's another thread where we've been trying to sort this out. It's a real issue, port forwarding is not the problem. |
#11066 UberMonkey Member Posted 13 years ago |
Thanks for that :) |
