Ok, so here's what happened: I join the MLG classes server and someone on the opposing team finishes building a sniper tower. After using the shotgun for ten minutes trying to get to that area on the pinpoint map where they built it, I began to use the spade to knock it down. Right in the middle, I am banned for one day for griefing. WTF?

I was really looking forward to make a switch from 800x600 to 640x480 because I get better framerates and the 2D layer looks more in place.

Personally I'm overjoyed that my rifle works properly again, and the SMG finally seems worth using from time to time. The way the shotgun works is exceptionally well done. It's interesting to see my ping now- I seem to be averaging between 190-300 ping and it still runs mostly smooth somehow. At one stage I got killed by a grenade but was told it was a shotgun, but that's a minor quibble.

A bigger problem though it the hit indicators- nothing wrong with them being there, but they need to be tweaked. several times I was being fired on from in front- the guy may have been near the side of the screen but he was still firmly in front of me. I see tracer coming at me from in front, and the same hit registers a 'side' display on the hit detectors. It's happened a few times and it can get a bit distracting. Instead of trusting in the tracers I instinctively think I'm being attacked from my side as well, turning to face the new threat only to find there's nothing there...

...then I usually get killed by the guy in front. I think that needs a bit of fixing but otherwise the release seems pretty good.

... We all scream for the Ice Beam! Well, most of you did anyway, I voted plasma, but whatever...

Anywho, as promised, I did what I said I would do. In the update you have:

-The Ice Beam weapon (Prime Model)
-Reload/Fire/Empty sounds (Running out of ammo never sounded so cool!)
-The Thermal Visor
-Fixed dead player model
-New font system (I used the MP:Hunters font to make this)

Its funny, the shotgun has almost the exact firing speed as the Ice Beam does in Prime. Guess it was meant to be :D

Make sure you run out of ammo at least once... I love the way that sound came out >.>

Hi when I tried to update AOS to 0.58 it seemed like it worked but when I click on a server it just does NOTHING! pure NOTHING! plz answer back ASP thx

if i already have 0.54 installed, do i need to install 0.58 or is there another option? Thank you!
