Not a huge update, but seeing as .60 won't have anything big to edit, thought I might get the changes to the pack and thread out there.

m only effective strategy is using my SMG as my primary weapons and if there is classes i switch to shotgun for close combat engagements

The heavy machine guns in Day of Defeat are great weapons, but they're not overpowered. Think about it, it would fit in perfectly with the WW1 theme of the game.

... then again, ben ought to remove the shotgun and replace it with a heavy machine gun. Powerful with a high fire-rate but very inaccurate!

I think the shotgun is perfect. No change needed.

Shotguns don't need to be removed, just rebalanced. The trouble is that they're powerful, but their significant spread makes it very difficult to kill anything beyond 10 meters. This reduces their purpose to insta-pointblank-headshots-from-around-the-corner and spawn killing.

IMO, the range of the shotgun needs to be increased and its damage reduced to improve its usefulness and balance.

Lol I don't just spawn kill! I usually use shotguns with squads to get that far through the map :P

Shotguns are way too overpowered, and used by too much faggots. Replace it with a real sniper, or a mountable weapon or something! The shotgun is a piece of shit.

yeah its kinda surprise the only thing i swapped out in this pack is the semi's scope everything else is flawless and yet this pack is not getting many comments GUYS IF YOU TAKE IT POST!

TO INSTALL:1.Extract the zip file.

2.Either use Spadille( http://ace-spades.com/forums/topic.php?id=4607#post-66661 ) to simply swap the files or you can do it the hard way(see step 3)

3.Go to the start menu,click all programs, click Ace of Spades. Right click on configuration.config and select open file loacation. Replace the same named files in the approprite sections(kv6, png, wav).

4.Enjoy.
