Thank you for that insightful information, I have changed my mind on getting Battlefield instead of Modern Warfare 3.

Agreed, Battlefield always moves forward, the graphics improve after every title, and they increase the destruction with each launch.

At E3 Battlefield 3 killed MW3. Just watch the gameplay trailers. You'll see that Modern Rehash 3 has exactly the same graphics and gameplay as MW2. Also, you'll notice that the underwater level in one of those trailers for MW3 heavily copies Crysis 2. Now I'll admit, I had some fun with World at War and MW2 but these rehashes have got to stop.

I bought modern warfare 2 believing the hype, it ended up being fine, but didn't last for me. I'm going to be honest here though, the only reason I say its going to suck is because op claimed "MW3 RULES." as if he already played it. However the fact you replied to me means i can say you're wrong and the thread may or may not devolve into a flamewar.

Also, you say its been a fine franchise for a while, i'd like to say I agree, however i'd be lying, i've seen a patten with it. Every game up until Call of Duty 3 was ww2, that got old. Every game after Call of duty 3 seems to take a modern approach from the 60's - Present (except for World at war mind you, but even that had alien rayguns and silly shit.)

People seemed to get bored with 3 really quickly though, so if my prediction is right, they will get bored with mw3 quickly.

Noire MW3 might not suck as much as you think COD has been a fine franchise you just havent seemed to deal with it.
