Not to point out the obvious, but you have saved it as the same name as the reload sound? It's gunreload.wav.

Try deleting/renaming any reload sound files in the Ace of Spades/wav folder, then pasting your file into that folder. If the original sound it playing, I suspect that the original sound file is still there, as (I think) that if there is no folder for the sound, there should be no sound.

Hi! I've got a problem. I'm trying to get a custom reload sound to work but I cant D: When I use it In-Game its always the default reload sound. I heard that you have to have it the same length as the default so I got it as close as possible to the default (Somewhere around 3 seconds) but that didn't work... Ive tried everything! Help please?

Did you change the screen resolution in the config file? Change it back to 800x600 and try again.

try re installing ace of spades if that doesint work ask a web admin or search wiki

whenever i try to get on a pop-up comes up and says initdirectdraw draw: 0x80004001

Same problem, with every new update comes new bugs. Just keep trying, you'll get in on the third or fourth time for sure.
